LINEN

WHY IS LINEN A SUSTAINABLE CHOICE?

Our flax is grown in France and Belgium in uncontaminated soils certified by the European confederation of Linen and Hemp. The CELC body responsibly regulates all stages of production.

The growing and processing of flax to fibre requires no irrigation and uses just rain water to grow.

Little fertilizer or pesticides are needed to grow it, which respects the environment and wildlife.

Farmers have shown that growing flax improves soil quality and increases crop quotas planted after it.

WHY DOES LINEN LAST LONGER?

Lasting 5 times longer than cotton, linen can lasts up to 25-30 years.

The long flax fibres are soft and durable and highly resistant to pilling, allowing the linen to stay in optimum condition.

Linen is highly absorbent as well as having natural heat regulating properties.

WHY IS LINEN A HEALTHY OPTION

Linen is naturally hypoallergenic, anti-allergenic and antibacterial with studies showing it can promote regular sleep cycles.

Your linen sheets are even safe from moths due to a natural resistance.

FLAX IN OUR HISTORY - DID YOU KNOW?

Archaeological evidence from the times of the Pharaohs and the Far East indicate that flax cloth was produced in 6000 BC.
